Tobacco Tactical Cigar Co. is excited to announce its newest collaboration: the
Essence Series Honduras Tobac Exclusive. Developed in partnership with industry
icons E.P. Carrillo and Plasencia Cigars, this innovative addition to the Essence
Series is presented in an exclusive 5 1/2 x 52 vitola. Designed to highlight the bold
yet sophisticated qualities of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos, the blend remains true to its distinctive character.

This release represents the second collaboration between Tobacco Tactical and
E.P. Carrillo, following their earlier V series project. Building on that success, the
team has now joined forces with Nestor Plasencia to further refine the blend and
create a truly unparalleled smoking experience.
Alexander Berezowski explained, “Not many get to play ball with Hall of Famers…we got called up to play with two at the same time.” Michael Medrano added, “After working with The Godfather of Cigars in 2023, we knew we had to push the envelope for our next project. Bringing Nestor into the mix was an unexpected
blessing and the perfect way to elevate this collaboration.”
The Essence Honduras Tobac Exclusive features a Honduran wrapper and binder
paired with a carefully selected filler blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
This combination produces a medium-bodied smoke with rich flavors reminiscent
of roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, and a hint of nutmeg. Thanks to the expert craftsmanship of Plasencia, the cigar delivers a complex yet accessible profile. Although the blend is consistent with the Essence Honduras portfolio produced by Plasencia, it has been subtly adjusted to suit the unique vitola of this release.
Lissette Perez Carrillo of E.P. Carrillo commented, “This project was all about
finding the perfect balance. The synergy between our team and Plasencia allowed
us to refine a blend that speaks to the roots of Honduran tobacco while
maintaining the signature complexity our cigars are known for.” Wayne Stoner, National Sales Director for EPC/Casa Carrillo, noted, “The development process involved countless hours working on multiple blends throughout 2024, ensuring the product met Tobacco Tactical’s high standards. We were excited to continue
developing something we’d been working on for quite some time.”
Scheduled for its debut in April 2025, the Essence Series Honduras Tobac Exclusive will initially be available through Tobacco Tactical’s platform, with a portion of the production allocated to select retail partners. Further rollout plans will be announced later in the year
